History Established in 1944. Yingst Appliance is a solid family owned company!  In 1944 Charles Thomas Yingst founded Yingst Appliance based on strong values of integrity.  His word was as good as gold, and if it cost him out of his pocket to keep a promise, that's what he would do.   Later in the1950's he passed those values down to his two sons, Leonard Yingst and Ken Yingst.  They expanded from being solely repair to sales as well.  They joined "Nationwide" a multi- billion dollar buying group in the early 1970's enabling Yingst Appliance to offer highly competitive pricing while continuing to offer the same supreme customer service on which the company was founded. Meet the Business Owner Ryan Y. Business Owner Ryan is the fourth generation to run the business.  He started working at Yingst in his early teens after school doing deliveries and installs where he gained lots of hands on experience with appliances.  After a few years he moved up to the sales floor where he learned the customer relations aspect of the business, as well as learning everything about new and old appliances,  memorizing measurements, model numbers, and learning purchasing and marketing.  After 14 years of experience, he retired his dad and two uncles, and has now been running the business for six years, bringing the company up to date, but still maintaining the traditional personalized service Yingst has always offered.
