We offer quality NEW vacuums at great prices. We have replacement parts, bags, filters, belts for all major brand vacuum cleaners. History Established in 1938. The business was started in the Bronx in 1938 by Arthur Davidson who passed the ownership to Len Morse back in 1972 after Len being there for 7 years. Len double the size of the original store on Webster Ave. and then opened up the second store in Riverdale in 1980. We are currently operating out of the Rioverdale location this way Len can give his full attention to his customers. Â The first thing that you will notice when you enter our store is the funny but professional attitude that Len is noted for. Also our customers enjoy reading the signs posted on the wall. After 74 years of being in business you will find the most knowledge about your vacuum cleaner needs whether it is purchasing a new unit or repairing your old one. Meet the Business Owner Len D. Business Owner Len has been in the business with Vacuum World for 50 years, repairing and selling vacuum cleaners. Len is married with 2 children and he is also a Black belt in Taekwondo, has made 6 training videos along with his Grand Master and received the Taekwando man of the year award from Budo International Magaxine in 2006. He is a charter member of VTDA ( vacuum cleaner trade association) formed 30 years ago. He also a founding member of North Riverdale Merchants Association. |
