In early 1999, RepairClinic.com was launched by co-founders Chris Hall, an appliance repair technician, and Larry Beach - along with a team of seven people. It was decided that RepairClinic.com would be unique, offering free, credible, easy-to-understand repair help content to empower people to repair appliances on their own. In 2004, RepairClinic built a 60K sq. ft. building in Canton, MI, and doubled its staff size. In 2010, the company integrated how-to videos into its constantly-enhanced repair help content. In 2011, the company expanded its inventory and repair help to support outdoor power equipment such as lawn mowers.
