I had been an electrician, repairman, and handyman for over 20 years and in 2009 I went into the appliance repair and sales business by answering a craigslist ad. We also help repair in the Santa Cruz area. I immediately became aware that it is a standard practice to lie, cheat, and steal in order to maximize revenues.  False information and overcharging was a common business practice and I was constantly bumping heads with my partner over issues like honesty and integrity.  It became apparent that I needed to start my own company.  I am committed to building a business and a reputation on honesty, reliability and customer satisfaction.We also do appliance repair in the Santa Cruz area. Meet the Business Owner Ted R. Business Owner Ted has over 30 years of electrical and technical experience in troubleshooting and business management.  He learned how to troubleshoot in the U.S. Navy as a Submarine Communications Electrician.  After the Navy, Ted attended Santa Clara University where he studied economics and business.  He received his Bachelors in Economics and his MBA from Santa Clara as well.  Ted has always been an entrepreneur and has remained self employed for over 20 years as an Electrician, Repairman, and Handy Man.  He started Appliance Rescue 911 in 2010 to protect consumers from misinformation and predatory overcharging and to provide them quality and integrity in an industry greatly lacking it.
